My mood while writing this blog: watching my baby grow |

*Week 30 - 7 Months*
*November 10 - November 16*
Since
Sean is really showing no signs of having any food allergies we have
been going crazy with all the different stage 2 foods. There is not
*one* food that I have found that my chunky munky does not like. That
is so crazy! He wants everything and anything.
development: November 10 -
He attended his first annual Wicks Pizza Party. We do it every year for
a bunch of family that have birthdays during this week.
November 13 - Sean had his second photo shoot at work. This one was for Christmas pictures. He did such a great job!! They are so cute.
November 15 -
Today was my youngest brothers birthday party at this place called the
little gym. Mason had a complete blast while Sean sat back and watched
the whole thing from above on the balcony with us.
November 16 -
So me and Brandon finally broke down and bought Sean the next step up
carseat. We had too, he was just too big! He also loves his bouncy seat
. . . which he is also way too big for . . . his butt touches the
ground . . . so we bought him the fisher price rocker/seat. He really
likes it too! I can't handle him outgrowing everything already!!

*Week 31*
*November 17 - November 23*
(Dr visit November 23 at 7:30 - has not taken bottle for 48 hours)
weighed: 24 pounds 3 ounces (98th percentile)
For
some reason Sean really stopped taking his bottle over the weekend and
I became a bit concerned and decided that it would not hurt anything to
take him to the doctor and get it checked out. Turns out that he not
only had fluid built up behind both of his ears, but he also had viral
strep. He was put on an antibiotic.
development: November 17 -
Today Sean got to experience his first bit of snow flurries. It was so
cute! We were riding in the car and he was just watching out the window
with this face of confusion, but yet excitement. I love the mirror I
have in the car to be able to see him. He is also now wearing mostly
9-12 month clothing.
November 22 -
He still is not caring for his bottle. He doesn't drink much at all
during the day, but I can get him to drink at night. Im thinking that
he is just not gonna be hard to wean off a bottle!

*Week 32*
*November 24 - November 30*
This
week was alot of fun! Sean finally got to meet alot of the family that
hadn't seen him yet. He was defintley a TURKEY for Thanksgiving and
everybody, and I mean everybody was eating him up!!
development: November 27 -
Of course today was Sean's first Thanksgiving. We ventured to Brandon's
aunts house and then we ventured to my aunts house. Sean ate chicken
and dumplings, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes and pumpkin pie. We also
noticed that he is saying "num num" when eating or wanting to eat what
your eating. We also ventured to Brandons other aunts the Saturday
following Thanksgiving.
November 28 -
Sean
had been completely addicted to the walmart brand passies. They looked
like the mams, but the nipples were shaped differently. We went to 3
different walmarts trying to find more of these passies and all them
were out. I got fed up and decided that we would have to wean Sean to
the more common brand. The Mams. Today we finally broke him and he is
now taking the Mam with no problem! lol

*Week 33*
*December 1 - December 7*
(Dr visit December 4 at 8:30 - second dose of influenza vaccine)
He
received his second flu shot this week and handled it very well. It was
not a big deal at all. I also realized this week that Sean as eaten
every type of stage 2 babyfood there is (excluding meats) and there is
still not one food that he does not like. He eats everything!!
development: December 3 -
Ever
since Thanksgiving anytime one of us has a plate of food Sean
understands what we are doing and *he wants some too* He starts with
his phrase *num num num* and if we don't respond to that by giving him
something he while start yelling at us. The boy knows what he wants. So
I would have to say about everytime we eat he is also experiencing some
type of new food or texture.
December 7 -
He
finally took to his sippy cup. We have been offering it for a couple of
weeks now, but tonight he decided that he likes it. We took the stopper
our of it because he doesn't understand that he has to suck on it yet,
but he will get the hang of it. If he is not letting it run into his
mouth he is chewing on the nipple. lol
