06-1-2009 - Lost a Tooth . . Got a Tooth

My mood while writing this blog: amazed and maybe a little sad

So apparently I am in some sort of denial. I didn't realize that Mason was *old enough* to start loosing teeth. So when he showed me his first loose tooth in the beginning of December can you believe that my hormonal self actually got teary eyed. LMAO! That's my baby!!
So he is a pretty clever little guy and finally lost his tooth on *Christmas Eve*! So not only was Santa riding in that night, but the Tooth Fairy was sitting shot gun!! He seriously got like a Christmas bonus!!

On another note, Sean has had his to bottom teeth since 6 months and just recently a couple weeks ago got one of his top teeth.
This morning I noticed this weird thing on his gum where is other front tooth will be coming it. His gum is swollen to the point that it has pushed down where his tooth should go. Its soft and pink in color, actually a little white looking.
I was told this is called a *teething blister* or *eruption cyst*. I have NEVER heard of this. It looks painful, but I don't think its bothering him too much. They told me they usually resolve themselves, but its just so odd.

Has anyone dealt with one of these before??
