02-6-2009 - Hospital update again

My mood while writing this blog: worried......

So the dr has finally came in. I am stable for now....blood pressures and labs are okay. I do 100% have preclampsia. A mild case is protein in the urine with 300 ml spilling....a severe case is spilling 5,000. I am currently spilling 3,000. The dr said that number does not matter as of now...even if it goes up! Right now it depends on my blood pressure and how the baby does. I will continue to have daily labs for now to check for HELLP.If they continue to be stable that will go to every three days.
Some other news is that I will not go past July 17th with this pregnancy. That is 37 weeks. The dr feels I prolly wont make it past it 35 weeks. If I can make it past 35 the baby will prolly not have to go to the NICU unless something is wrong. Before 35 she will have to go no questions asked. I do also have to stay in the hosptial until I give birth no questions. My goal right now is to make it to 32 weeks, then 34 weeks, then 35 weeks and everything after that is gravy. Anything after today is good. They told me 1 day inside me is like 3 days in the NICU so.....yeah.
That is the good the bad and the ugly I reckon. So anytime between this second and July 17 I can be having Bailey. I will be 31 weeks on Friday....everyday is a blessing. In order to keep Bailey in I need to feel okay (not worse), my bp needs to stay down (this can be with help of meds), my labs needs to be stable, and Bailey needs to be doing okay and growing. If anything if this changes we will talk about the c-section then. Until then everything just needs to keepp trucking along. Again she weighs 2 pounds 14 ounces as of now...she is supposed to gain 1/2 pound a week from week 30 until delivery. So if I can make it to 37 weeks she will be around 6 pounds....that is if she grows properly.
Please continue to pray that all goes well and now that I can make it at least to 35 weeks if not 37 weeks. Anyways please keep me, Jackson, and Bailey in your thoughts and prayers.

i am praying for you guys! that is such a worrysome thing but let it in God's hands and try not to let yourself get too stressed out or worried about it because it will just shoot your blood pressure up. that happened to me in the hospital a couple of weeks ago when the baby stopped moving... i was so worried that my blood pressure was way too high... i wish it was that simple for you

i found out i had HELLP at 34wks....i delivered 4 days later after 34hrs of labor! my lil man was 4.8lbs and in the NICU for 6 days.

i hope all the best for you!
