| 03-10-2009 - Idk what's wrong with my baby |
My mood while writing this blog: Ok |
I just want her to grow. She's still 12 pounds, I have friends with younger babies that weigh more than her....some of them twice her weight. I don't get why she doesn't get bigger. Her nutritionist said I was overfeeding her by giving her 6 ounces every 3 or 4 hours, but she gets cranky if she gets anything less than that. Now shes throwing up each time she eats. She'll be 7 months on the 12th, and she's still in 0-3 month clothes. She has her pediatrician appointment on the 8th, I don't want to go because her ped. is a pedophile and the hospital on base requires you do every shot that they have in stock, and I don't want her getting shots if something isn't right with her. Her nutritionist appointment isn't til the 12th of November and that's the soonest she can get in, they had to squeeze her in too.
Ugggh. Idk. I kind of want to put her back on Enfacare to see if she'll gain weight, because she did gain weight just fine when she was on it. I want to try AR too to see if it keeps her from spitting up so much. Right now she's on gentlease because she inherited my husbands gastroinsestinal disease and the gentle formula def. helps with it.

Sunday, 4 Oct you can refuse them to give her so many shots at once they are just gonna make you sign a form thats all, if you dont like the doctor you can also go to another one you dont have to see that one, you just lef them know your uncomfortable mfbrown -
Sunday, 4 Oct Follow your gut momma! We know way better whats best for our babies than any ol' doc. They can only go by the 'avg' and while they're good to bounce questions off of, they aren't with us day to day to see what things are going on. I would say to 100% try to go back to what worked! And screw any doc for saying a baby is gaining too much weight! As long as they aren't like crazy overweight which you would totally know, IGNORE the doc!! My little one is 6 months and at her 4 month visit she was 15 pounds, so I'm guessing more like 18/19 now. I ignore the doctors when they tell me she's in the 75th percentile and all that because I know she's healthy and when they get a bit older they'll get active and be little twigs! Follow your gut momma! Momma's know best! my.family -
Saturday, 3 Oct the Enfacare worked wonders with my lil man. He was on it until he was 7.5months and he weighed about 15lbs. Then the docs took him off of it. but i think Raelyn is in the right weight range for her age. And my son was also born at the same gestation as your daughter. masonnickey -
Saturday, 3 Oct Every baby grows at different rates. About the spitting up have you heard of Nutramigen? My lil one drinks that & it helps. Also if you get Wic it's usually covered with a dr's note. Ask your dr what they think about changing her formula. ashes~is~blessed -
Saturday, 3 Oct Oh on that same note...... my daughter is 6 years old and only weighs 34 lbs.... so don't fret my dear!!!!! :) ashes~is~blessed -
Saturday, 3 Oct I really wouldn't worry about it. Kids are funny cuz they always just want to grow at there own rate. My daughter didn't wear 12 month clothes until she was like 2!!! In fact she is 6 years old and can STILL fit into 12 month shorts and skirts and she is HEALTHY AS CAN BE!!! :) My son on the other hand is 13 months and wears 24 months and 2-3T. There is only about a 9 lbs difference between them.I agree on not listening to that lady about overfeeding your baby. A nurse told me that about my son and I told her to stuff it! Babies know when they are hungry and when they are not. Just like adults. My sister is 4 inches taller than me and a bit bigger and I eat more at breakfast than she does all day! Every person eats different and you as the mom know when your baby is hungry or not. :) Just listen to your gut hun!!! Amor y Respeto -

Saturday, 3 Oct Don't listen to that person, The only person your suppose to listen to is her DR, You are not alone about ur baby still in 0-3 month's clothes Jasmine is still in 0-6 month's so don't feel bad, Her cousin is a week younger than Jasmine and he is heaver than Jas so don't feel bad we have preemies I wouldn't worry about it. If you are concern about it all then talk to your baby's Dr about it if he say's not to worry about her weight then I wouldn't worry about it neither. Good Luck with everything :-)
