05-10-2009 - I hate asking this, BUT I need the help of the ladies on here

My mood while writing this blog:
Ok

So, my best friend's little sister is pregnant with a little girl. I'm going to buy her a gift for her baby shower in the next few weeks (since hubs is going in the field and I'm going on a little shopping spree for Raelyn and I anyways lol) but I'm completly stumped on what to get her, but I wanted to get her at least an outfit, then I was going to buy a few other little things.

I'm trying to think of a way to put it without sounding rude, or stereotyping....so I'm just going to say she listens to a lot of rap and hiphop...she's really into that scene, which I'm not lol I listen to metal and dress my baby in all pink girly stuff from Carter's haha So what should I get her? The other day I saw this little girl in a pair of Apple Bottom skinny jeans and they we're SO adorable, so I thought maybe that...but I'm not sure. So any ideas are way more than welcome :)

Also, Im making a scrapbook for Raelyn with pictures from the time she was born til 1 year, I have no idea how all that works. I need a scrapbook that is thick enough to hold enough pages for around 200 pictures. I have no idea how you put the pictures on, or any of that. And does anyone know where you can get scrapbook pages cheap? I was at a scrapbook store that was supposed to sell things "discounted" but the pages we're like $2 each.

go to the $1.00 tree, i work here in oregon and we have everyting for scrapbooking and they are $1.00 i would look into it!Try burington coa factory, they have things for that type of music and things, like baby phat adn things like that!hope it helps!

Most mothers, regardless of what they are into, dress their daughters in princess colors and clothing. Most mothers are grateful for anything they get, and the outfit will be used. Buy her the apple-bottom pants.

Just buy her whatever outfit you want to buy her and think it is cute. my god daughters mom listens to rap and hip hop and when the girls were born they wore mostly pink and purple things. I think all mothers dress their little girls in pinks and purples at some point. i hate the color pink but if i had a daugter i would dress her in pink lol maybe buy some baby bibs that says i love mommy or something. baby lotion, diapers, wipes stuff she can not get to much of lol. i listen to all types of music but i found this adorable punk rock outfit at hot topic i would also dress my daughter in but i dont think i have ever seen anyone really dress their kids to what they listen to lol i think shell just be happy to have things for her little girl when she arrives.....as far as the scrapbooking goes i wish we lived closer lol i love scrapbooking. I dont know where u could get pages from though. here in walmart they have scrapbooks for boys and girls that come with stuff to decorate the pages and even pages its a kit. i usually buy those and you can take her pics and cute them into whatever shape you want from a star to a heart or a square or a circle or whatever i normally do that and then i take colorful paper and cut them into the same shape but bigger then the picture and tape or glue them together and then put them however i want on the page u can buy letters and put in the corner of the page mommy's little princess, adorable, cute, my baby, or whatever u want as well lt me look and see if i can come up with websites to give u ideas. Scrapbookin is one of my fav hobbies lol and i have like 5 of them running around here somewhere lol plan to do some more soon and thought about doin them for gifts as well. i will private message u if i find anything helpful
