17-10-2009 - What can we do legally about this?

My mood while writing this blog:

So, before Hubs and I we're Hubs and I....he dated this girl for 2 weeks, she was a creepy girl so he broke up with her, and then she claimed she was pregnant to try to get him back. She refused to take a pregnancy test so my hubby knew she was lying....so she admited to it and that was the end of it.

Now for the past year, shes been stalking him. She found his military email and messaged him there, she found his regular email and sent him messages on there, she's found his facebook and requested to be his friend 2 or 3 times...he keeps denying her, she's sent him TONS of messages. He never has responded to one single message. Can we file a restraining order against her? Needless to say...the girl is psychotic. I don't know what kind of girl she is....so I can't say if she's the type of person who would like...show up to my apartment and kill me and take off with Raelyn or something....but you'd think after what she's been doing she has to be pretty effed up in the head. I thought maybe we'd have to at least tell her to stop and leave her alone to be able to file anything against her, but I wasn't sure.

Edit:// My hubs just called me from the field and told me his friend Val has been blowing up his phone all day trying to get a hold of him to tell him this ex of his has been asking NONSTOP for his phone number. Val keeps telling her no and she keeps begging her for it!! UGH!!

Save all of the message and take it to the police tell them that this girl is stalkin ur husband and u want to see if there is anything that ya'll can do to make her stop, Just by readin this blog make's me think she's crazy

i would save the messages and take it to the police and have him ask his higher up's about what he should do. they take care of their men and they will figure something out.

omg-that girl is a freak! on fb he could block her...but i think you should tell the police or something...some women have done some prettty crazy things to get to the man they want. and they will stop at nothing. you and hubby must do something before your family gets hurt. good luck...i hope this issue can be resloved.

Keep emails, friend requests, phone calls, when she begs for phone numbers, get people to time/date/possibly record her (although that could be an infringement on her human right and get you in trouble). You need evidence for a restraining order. This is what I had to do when I was being stalked. Keep a log book. That helped me. In the end, they stopped, so I never needed to file a restraining order, but having the evidence would have sure made things easier. Hope this helps.

on facebook he can block her and then she won't beable to message her or find him on facebook :) As for the other things I'm not sure I kinda know what your going threw but it was back in high school and I handled it with help form Quentin and my friends!

What are the things she is saying to him? Thats what I'm curious about. Thats so messed up if she knows he's married and has a kid and is still persistant. I definitely think if someone was sane they would of given up. Definitely get a restraining order and charge her with harassment. Print, copy and save everything you can come up with. And use the other person as a witness that she keeps blowing up that person's phone up to get his number to show how psychotic this girl is. Good luck hun.

yep hun i just asked my hubby and he said that ur hubby can definitely charge her with harassment and should most likely be able to get a restraining order. he can definitely charge her with harassment though! as long as he has the proof, print it off and bring it to the police station.. get him to explain that he doesnt know what shes capable of and the family doesnt feel safe. good luck hun and let me know how it goes!!

you guys can charge her with harassment and then if she doesnt stop u guys can file a restraining order. save all the messages and everything shes left and go to the police station. he can charge her with harassment forsure as long as he has proof of her emailing him etc. i would definitely do it bcuz ur right .. u dont know what this gurl is like and God forbid anything happened.. u just never know! good luck hun and definitely get him to do it!! hope it works and she gets a life.. thats psycho!!!
