11-1-2009 - Names...

My mood while writing this blog: too picky!

ok, so this naming business may be the hardest thing I will ever do. lol. I guess i didnt realize how picky I am.

Here's my delima....

I think a name is one of the most important decisions you make for your child. This could really make or break the kid while growing up and figuring out who they are. No offense to anyone who has used this name, but for example... Candie, I mean, come on... seriously. This child will grow up never to be taken seriously and probably work as a stripper. lol. I have also realized how much I dislike my name. I mean it is unique because its not just Britney... its Brett, but at the same time, how many grandma Brettany's do you really think there will be? Its a horrible name for an elderly woman. So, taking these things into consideration, Im having a really hard time with this. lol.

Anyway, here are the names that I keep putting thru my brain in hopes that I will decide on one of them. Let me know what you think PLEASE!=]

Eliana- I really like this one, it fits all parts and could be shortend to Elle or Ellie as a child.

Emma-Lou- this was my grandmothers name and i have always loved it.

Genevieve- one of my favs.

Madalyn- still not to fond of this...

Mia- cute, but maybe too short.

Olivia- lots of options again for nicknames.

Penelope- someone just said this and it seems to have made my list...

Regan- not sure, but it just poped out at me from the page in my baby name book.
