28-5-2009 - Emma\'s 2 week check up!

My mood while writing this blog: Blessed

Today Emma is 2 weeks old! I cant believe how quickly time has gone by. I love my lil squeeky so much, she is amazing!

My lil girl now weighs 6lbs 9.5oz and is 22" long! She is getting so big. :D Im excited to see her grow, maybe soon, she will fit into all her NB clothes! The doctor was impressed at how strong she is. She responds well to sounds and trys to hold her head up, she pushes with her legs and can even roll herself to her side. Me and my sis like to joke about how "advanced" she is!

I was concerned about Emma sleeping thru most the night. They tell you to make sure they are getting enough to eat and to feed about every 2hrs. Emma only wakes once a night and then sleeps the rest of the time. The doc said not to worry cuz she is gaining weight and that just means more rest for mom. WOOWHOO! I cant believe how blessed Iam to have such a wonderful baby. I couldnt be happier!

I hope all you ladies who just had your lil ones are doing well and getting enough rest also. And to those of you who are still counting down the days, lots of labor dust to ya!
