*A poem for my little girl*

Ten tiny fingers, ten tiny toes,

Two little eyes, a mouth and one little nose.

We all wonder, who will you look like?

With those little eyes, full of sunshine.

Will you look like Mommy or Daddy?

Or might you be a mixture of the two?

We await your arrival, our precious little girl.

You are my everything, my life, my world

I feel you move and kick and play

As you grow stronger every day.

I hold your innocent life in my hands

The way I feel for you, no one understands.

I cant imagine my life without you

I will never find a love so true

Cant wait to hold you in my arms

Treasure you, and protect you from any harm

I sit up and wonder, can I do this?

And that’s when you give me that reassuring kick.

You’re more valuable than any other

And every day we get closer and closer

My heart beats for you, dear little one

And when its all said and done,

You are my angel sent from above,

My angel, to care for, treasure and love.
