Had my dr appointment this morning which took almost two hours instead of a few minutes. Went in and I guess that when I got there, another woman had gotten there and was fully dialated and so my Dr was the one that had to go and deliver her. Well instead of a 9:50 appointment, i ended up going in at 10:30 instead. They worked me up blah blah blah you know the whole routine..... she examined me and I am now almost 2.5cm dialated and 60% effaced... Hailee's head is at a -2 now. Well then something weird happened.... Dr got this strange look on her face, Hailee has her little arm stuck above her head so instead of feeling head, Dr felt hand. And sonce Hailee was 5.5 lbs four weeks ago, dr is a little concerned about how much she weighs now. She tried to get me in for an ultrasound today but couldnt because they were fully booked. So I have one scheduled for Friday at 9:30am. She wants to see how much she weighs and exactly what position that little hand is in. She said that she seems to have it stuck and may not be able to move it which means that when I go into labor and my water has broken, they will have to try to get her arm back down if she hasn't moved it already. So she let us go and I made my u/s appointment when she called me back in there. She checked again and said that she wanted to make sure that it wasnt her cord wrapped up there so she checked and I guess Hailee moved her fingers a little and so the dr said "oh nope that is definitely her hand." She also said that since I've already started well on my way in labor, they might even see me before Friday... I'm shooting for this weekend though... Hopefully by this weekend I will have my little girl finally here! Crossing my fingers!
