My mood while writing this blog:
Tired!

Hello ladies! It has been so long since I have updated on Hailee & the family and whatnot! First of all, Happy New Year Everyone! Hailee is now just over five months old and a little rascal! She can almost sit up on her own... a few more weeks I would think & get this..... trying to CRAWL! I'm in for a world of trouble!

We had a wonderful Christmas, Hailee sat in her bumbo chair almost the entire time and "opened" her presents. Really, she grabbed a piece of the paper and i moved the box around. She was more interested in her paper and bows than in her toys and clothes. She is eating 1st/2nd foods & loves it! & also loves little rice crackers & loves to sit in her high chair and watch people cook. She sat in her high chair almost all day on Christmas Eve and watched us cook dinner.

This year it was the year anniversary of my cousin's death & New Years was hard especially. We dedicated our New Year party to her, equipped with butterflies, pink balloons, pink ribbons, the Sylvia Special drink & family t-shirts of our wonderful family member. And at the stroke of Midnight, my uncle played her favorite song before she passed away last year. "No One" by Alicia Keys. It brought back so many memories and had everyone in tears. She was such a huge part of our family, so vibrant & loving. You knew when she walked into a room. Even little Hailee had an itty bitty little shirt.

The holidays are especially hard now that she is gone and her girls dont have her around anymore but we alled pulled through and had a great party in memory of Sylvia :)

So this is a new year, new life with my little girl & Stephen......

Oh, speaking of Stephen, we are doing great. He works full time for a landscaping company & I'm trying to find part time work which is taking forever! Still trying to move out inn February, there is a duplex right acros the street from my parents house & we would love to get it. Here's to hoping it holds out for another month!

Well, I guess that is it for now. Posting pictures of the holidays right after I'm done writing this :)
