25-8-2008 - OB Appt #1

My mood while writing this blog:
Happy

We had our first OB appt today!! Horraayyy!! Everything looks great. I had to have the copmplete exam done, that part I could do without. Uterus feels like 9 weeks or so, which is a good sign that we are continuing to grow like we should. Had to get a crap load of blood drawn and pee in a cup, I love being pg!!

My pants are super uncomfortable when I sit down today, I just might have to bust out the pg pants sooner than I thought? Anyone else have this happen so early?

Anyhow still at 4/1/09 for EDD. My suister in law was also at the dr today with me, she is 38 weeks on wed and super uncomfy. She has had proteins in the urine and her blood pressure is creeping up each week so I hope they induce her later inthe week. They (the dr and her supervisor) made her quit working today. She is officially on maternity leave now, I couldn't believe how bummed she was. (She is an OB Delivery RN at the hospital) I figured she would have been happy to be off work.

Hey there so glad to hear all is going as it should - it is exciting - and I am getting hugh already and feel uncomfortable - bloated mostly in the afternoons and evenings - take care x

Glad you're feeling well & that your appointment went well! All of a sudden (this week) everything is tight. I feel like overnight I "popped". I told my work this week that I am expecting..so at least now I don't have to keep trying to hide my ever expanding belly :)

OOOOhhh yes, I was in maternity clothes very early this time! Although, I never made it back into my before-baby size before I got pregnant again this time! :( I haven't gained nearly the weight this time, only a few pounds, so that is good. Anyway, everyone says you show much earlier time #2. Are you still feeling ok with no morning sickness? If you say yes, I am going to be soooo jealous! :) I am just glad that everything is going well for you!!!!

Girl, let me tell you how I just spent $200 on maternity clothes because NOTHING fits me anymore! I mean, I put on my "fat" pants the other day and was dying! So, today, I'm in "mommy" clothes and I'm feeling MUCH better! Everybody's body is different. Don't worry if you your uterus is growing faster then anyone elses. I mean, I was freaking out at first but Dr.'s and family in medical have said that I shouldn't be so upset. Its just that my body is different and technically, this is my second child so I'm going to "look" and "feel" bigger. Nothing wrong with that.
