31-3-2009 - Drayke Update

My mood while writing this blog: Scared Shitless

Well not long after writing my last blog, we noticed that Drayke seemed to be a little chilly. We bundled him up and just hung out getting ready for bed. Before we laid him down we decided to take his temp just cuz something did not feel right. It was a whole 96.1 rectally, way too low! We called the ER, they instructed us to wrap him up in 2 blacnkets adn dress him warm with a hat adn wait 30 min and temp again. Well 30 minutes later his temp was 95.7. We took him right in to the ER. They ended up Flying him to Marshfield Childrens Hospital. It was so scarry. Watching you baby leave all hooked up to monitors and feeling so helpless. We had to go home and pack some stuff in a bad quick and head off for our 2 hour drive to meet him. THey have done spinals and tons of blood work adn so many tests. So far, not too many results back yet. Most of them take 48-72 hours to culture out so hopefully we wil have some definate answers by Thursday morning. We are doing well as can be. Brock is wondering what happened to his brother and keeps asking ofr us which breaks our heart cuz he can't be here with his family. Luckly my paretns are taking care of him for us.

He did gain some weight since he arrived which is good and his appetite is increasing. Today he looks better than the last so that is alos a plus. We will try to keep everyone updated. Please keep Drayke in your prayers for a safe and seedy recovery.
