| 12-4-2008 - 36 weeks // 12th April 2008 | My mood while writing this blog:Content |
So, today I am recuperating from last night. Michael, Landon and I all went out to Darrens 21st birthday dinner and Landon was running amuck with Sharnas two little sisters all the time we were at the restaurant. He was boogeying down on the dance floor and wanted everyone to go and dance with him. It was too cute.
I pigged out on Chinese and we left the restaurant just after ten and walked to the bowling alley. Michael and Landon had a game against each other and Landon beat Michael by one point. We got a printout and stuck it in Landons baby book as a memoire. Michael scored a strike for Landon though, and I think that was a bad move on Michaels part, because he ended up losing to his three year old son, hahaha. After they played their bowling game, they raced on a car game together. It was so cute seeing them have fun together because we don't often go out and have fun as a family. I was quite happy sitting there watching them because it made my heart smile to see them having a ball together.
And getting back to the reason I started this page! Bubbie WAS in a transverse lie yesterday afternoon before dinner, but now it feels as though baby has gone breech. Hmmm.... There is a very hard lump about the size a little bubbies head between my ribs and it bubbles out every now and then. I hope that baby hasn't decided that breech is the most comfortable position because I want to avoid having a caesarean where possible. But if it is what is best for bubs and I, then that is what we will have to do. I'm not quite sure how much longer baby has left to turn into a head down position and engage, but something is inkling inside of me that bubs is very happy where he/she is. I will need to google it and see what any recommendations are on making a breech baby turn. I really want to deliver naturally again, please baby, turn for mummy!!!
I have an appointment with my obstetrician on tuesday. So I should be able to find out for certain if baby is in breech as I suspect. Okay, I'll keep you informed on the latest!
4 WEEKS TO GO TODAY! YAY! WE GET TO MEET 'ZOLTAN' SOON!!!
