05-5-2009 - so far so good

My mood while writing this blog:
better but really tired

so couldn't get in to dr until just before noon today. i took the morning off work, as i would have been useless there anyways, and rested. dr did an exam and couldn't see any active bleeding although she could see signs that there had been bleeding and it appeared to come from the outside of my cervix. apparently it looks irritated. so we're on a no sex ban for two weeks. we did have sex on the weekend but everything was fine at the time, no spotting or anything. anyways it's not from the uterus (thank god) and the cervix is good and closed. she is sending me for an u/s tomorrow (bless her) to check the placenta to make sure there's not some bleeding going on. i did hear the h/b again and it was still 160, just like yesterday, good and strong. i will post tomorrow after u/s!!

I am glad your feeling a bit better, just try and keep telling yourself what I said in the other msg I sent to your last blog (strong egg, strong baby). You are gona be ok!! This baby is a fighter just like it's mummy, and together you will both get through the ups and downs of this pregnancy. Just do what you gota do to reasure yourself that nothing serious is going on but try not to panic if anything like this happens again as the stress of panicing will just make you feel a hundred times worst. I remember after the second or third bleed I had to just think, well if it's gona be another m/c then there is nothing I can do about it so I am just gona carry on as normal and try to be happy and let my body fix whatever the problem is. There is no sence in worrying yourself sick.
