14-9-2009 - ultrasound update

My mood while writing this blog:
still sick but on the mend

we had our extra u/s today as the drs were thinking that baby is extra big. my fundal height at appt last friday was 40 cm. Baby Caelum is measuring just fine for his gestational age, thankyou very much. he is weighing in at approx 5 lbs 11 oz with 5 more weeks to go, so should be just shy of 9 lbs if he keeps that up. the u/s tech gave us a nice profile pic of him....he is looking more and more like his brother Connor everytime we see him, which is just awesome! of course he looks lots like his daddy too! she took a measurement of the fluid too and said everything looks just fine!

anyways that is all for now....enjoying my first official day off of work (yipee), did a ton of baby laundry and have organized his room a bit more today...who knows, maybe i'm nesting early!

hope everyone is well and am dying to hear minkymoo's update! congrats to her and her hubby!

Hi, thanks for inviting me to join your friends network. I'm glad that your baby is fine and i bet it was great to get a weight estimate. I haven't had an ultrasound since 28 weeks when he was estimated at 3lbs. I am absolutely huge now and i'm sure he is going to weigh alot more than my other children (the heaviest being 6lb12oz). The ultrasounds are brilliant and make you feel so close to your LO. Take care and enjoy your time off. Not long now and we will be holding our gorgous baby boys in our arms, i can't wait.
