My mood while writing this blog: thinking too much...

We went to the doctor for our weekly appointment yesterday.

I was a little worried because in our U/S last week baby boy's HR was only 124 and he's usually within a few beats of baby girls (she was in the 150's). Doctor told me not to worry, the babies' HR can fluccuate from 120-180. Yesterday he was back up int he 150's again. Yay! :)

I talked to the Doctor about how I really wanted to give birth vaginally if possible. You know, this may be my only pregnancy, and a part of me would be sad if I missed out on the whole labor and delivery experience. The doctor said that I'm still looking good to go vaginal, BUT! (oh, there's that but!) But, baby boy is still breech. He still has time to turn, so I'm hoping he just likes to do it on his own terms when he's ready (like his Daddy) and that he'll surprise me and turn. The doctor said even if he doesn't turn, a vaginal birth is still feasible because she's in the first position. (She's pushy and doesn't like to wait....like me!) BUT! (another one!) But the concern there is that she's smaller than him so even if she comes vaginally, he might not fit and will have to go C-section (My greatest fear! both kinds of delivery in the same day? Not cool!).

So this is what we decided. I am set for another U/S the second week of October and dependent on the results we will schedule a C-Section for the first week of November, or we will just let it all unfold as it should. I'm hoping that the news will be good. I really want to do the whole sweaty/panting/swearing/painful natural childbirth thing!
