18-6-2008 - 4 months old

My mood while writing this blog: Happy but tired

Well Caitlin went in for her 4 month shots today. She cried for a few minutes and that was that. Now she is taking her 4-6pm nap after we went and picked strawberries. She also has a bit of thrush but I basically have knocked it out of its course.. I have sterilized everything that she puts in her mouth.....blankets...clothes...spoons.....bottle nipples......etc. Thank god I have a nipple shield so I can continue to keep feeding her. :) She got a clean bill of health w/ the only exception of the little bit of thrush she has. She is now 15 lbs and 26 inches tall. So in 2 months she has gained 2 inches and 2 lbs. The doctor was happy with everything so far. Specially since we introduced her to rice cereal 2 weeks ago. So now she is getting cereal and mommy's milk (as my niece likes to call it LOL) and doing great. :) She is also to the point she is ready to sit up on her own.....she is still a little wobbly on that part but she is bound and determined and will get it in a week or so. Just wait till she is crawling....man will she be into everything. I am going to have to get her some actual play toys...that and get a toy chest. Stuff to look forward to...I can't wait but on the other side its like noooo she is growing up to fast!!!!!!! Every time I get use to a stage of hers boom she jumps right into the next one! aaaaaaaaaaa. LOL

I absolutely agree with everything you said!! Emma had her 4 month appt lst thursday and she was 14p 8oz and 24 inches long. She gets formula and oatmeal and I started her on applesauce too, she is not eating off of a spoon too well so Im gonna wait another few weeks and re-introduce it. SHe is growing like aweed and getting too big too fast :( Im glad your lil one is doing well and I hope mommy is well too!! Keep in touch

iam in the same boat with you, damn growing too fast, dont blink they are one year old. just enjoy all you can , soak it all in.

Hey! I couldnt agree more! Just when Im starting to get the hang of things they do something tht totally throws me for a loop! we have our 4 month check up next week. Time is flying by! How did you know when to start the cereal?? I think everett is ready, but not macey...i was going to talk with the doctor about it..
