Ob appointment..35weeks....had a non-stress test this morning that baby failed. I was on the monitor for almost an hour. Dr had me come back in the afternoon to do another one. She passed the one in the afternoon. She gave me a little scare, though this morning. I am now scheduled to go back for another on Thursday. I hope she keeps doing well.....

Ob appointment today...34weeks 1 day..Baby weighed in at 4lb 8oz. Still small, but not as small. 20th percentile. She looked so cute, I could see her moving her mouth around and licking her lips....It was sweet. Dr. doubled the procardia (contraction meds). I will only have to stay on them for 2 more weeks. Checked my cervix, said I am fingertip dialated, so nothing really. Had to have a non-stress test. She passed finally after almost 45 minutes. I had to go to the hospital for the steroid shot to help mature her lungs. That didn't feel too good, I have to go back tomorrow to get the last dose. Her heart rate was between 140 and 160, it was all over the place. I now go twice a week for the NST's and for appointments. I am feeling ok overall.

Had OB checkup yesterday...heartrate was 152. I have only gained 4lbs in the last 4 weeks...I am glad for me, but if I am gaining only a pound a week right now, I wonder how much the baby is growing....hopefully a lot..I am still having lots of contractions, so I am still trying to drink lots and rest more...It is not really possible to rest all the time. The older 2 girls leave on the 7th of June to go to Michigan for a visit for a month. I will use that time to "get things ready" for baby Kara. I will miss them a lot, but am sort of looking forward to a little break. Having only one child for a month will be strange. My next ultrasound is June 11th...we should know then how big baby is and if we are going to induce and how early.
