Very happy!!!


Hi everyone!
Well just got back from seeing my consultant and I'm being induced a week today due to my SPD and mild pre-eclampsia. I had an internal examination and she said my cervix was soft, 2cm long and 1cm dialated so she did a stretch and sweep.
I'm so excited! I cant wait to meet my baby. I have to go in next thursday at 4pm where they'll assess my cervix and if its still 2cm long and 1cm dialated they'll use some gel/pessery and if I dont react to that then they'll let me go home that night to come back in first thing to have my waters broken. But if I've dialated another cm then they'll just break my waters. The pesseries worked when I was expecting my daughter so really hoping they work!
I'm a bit nervous now too.
