18-9-2008 - Is it time yet?

My mood while writing this blog: tired

Each morning, with a pain in my belly, I wonder is it time yet?! As time draws nearer I wonder what it will be like the day I go into labor. Most of the time I'm wishing that time was here and others tell me to enjoy my pregnancy and pregnant body while it lasts. But is it bad to say, I'm ready now!!!

I am emotional now more than ever and my stomach hurts more than it feels good. Between having to pee every 30 minutes to Carson kicking me in the ribs I feel like I could go crazy, or have I? :wink

But, this blog wasn't written to complain. I am more excited at this point than I have been my entire pregnancy. The reality is setting in that in less than two months I will be a mother and have a child, wow! I can't wait to try my hand at motherhood and experience all the wonderful things that make a mother a mother. My mindset has already been reprogrammed (I guess during a single night it seems like) to motherhood. A bookfair was set up in the library and I walked through to see all the wonderful children's books; I wanted them all for Carson!!! Then again I had to re-tell myself he won't be able to read for awhile and then most of the books will be outdated, ha.

My baby shower has been set for October the 11th, one day after my birthday. The funny thing is I forget that my birthday is coming and I'm ecstatic for my baby shower. This makes me happy that I am already thinking more about my baby than myself.

His shower is going to be sports theme just like his nursery. It is going to be co-ed with lots of fun sports games to play.. Ugh I can't wait. I feel like a kid on Christmas eve'

Anyone else felt that way before their baby shower?

Okay, well I've typed chapter already and really should work on my assignments. I just can't help but keep thinking about my pregnancy..
