25-9-2008 - 24 week visit

My mood while writing this blog: Ok

We had our 24 week visit with my OB today. Great appointment! I still have gained only about 4 pounds which is good considering I don't need to gain at all (mildly obese)!! But, I did learn that our little guy (or my uterus) is measuring 4 weeks ahead. I am carrying him very, very high which could be the reason. I've felt over the past couple of weeks that I have swallowed a watermelon. Perhaps this is the reason why!! This could explain is slightly enlarged ventricles too.

Hi! I just had my check-up visit two days ago and I am also measuring ahead. I am only 2.5 weeks ahead. The doc says if it stays like that then they'll hafta do another ultrasound to make sure the baby is growing okay, not too fast, and that my due date is correct. One of my friends on here is measuring 5 wks ahead!! I was like wow- I kinda wondered if it meant we'd just come early?? And then maybe it's not "early" considering we're already ahead. I would like it be early considering she is fully ready and healthy! I can't wait- the excitement is crazy and it's really dragging along! Good luck to you though and the little boy!
