My mood while writing this blog: Ok |
It's been a busy day!! I had my f/u ultrasound appointment with a prenatal specialist. I also found out that during the ultrasound at 19 weeks, our baby boy's ventricles measured at 9mm each. In talking with the ultrasound tech, I learned that 8mm is considered "normal" and any variation over 1mm is considered "enlarged".
The good news is that his ventricle size has not changed in the past 2.5 weeks. He is still measuring at 9mm each. I also found out that his head size is considered normal as are his arm/leg bones. We could see that he has a complete lip (no cleft lip/palate) and I saw a wonderful video of his heart. After speaking with the physician, any left over concerns are gone. He's been at this for over 20+ years. I will go back at 30 weeks for one more u/s and measure (more photos for us!!)
Now, we concentrate on names........suggestions???
