Lucas got his hearing test yesterday and his right ear passed with flying colours but when the health visitor went to do his left ear it took ages to do and would not register then when it did if failed so she did it again and again it failed so we have now to be referred to the local hospital to have him tested again i will keep you all updated on it.

srry for Lucas. My lil man TJ who's almost 15mo old is hard of hearing. he actually has pretty good hearing but is gonna require a hearing aid in one ear just to help that little bit extra. We use sign language with him since we are fluent and have many deaf/hard of hearing friends. Sign also helps babies learn to communicate when they are still too little to form words. SIGNING TIMES is a great series to get (DVD's). they're way easy and the parents can learn along with the baby.
