08-6-2009 - ER Trip # 1

My mood while writing this blog: Ok

So I had my first trip to the ER on Friday for fluids. I was sick all day on Thursday and woke-up on Friday feeling worse. One of my trips to the bathroom to vomit yet again and I starting seeing black spots and was having a hard time standing up. I laded down thinking what the doctor said. "If you start to feel dizzy then you are dehydrated and you need to go get fluids." So I called my Dad, since my hubby was at work and about an hour away. He took me over and my mom drove me home after four hours, two bags of fluid and Zofan and Reglan to help stop the nausea. I was feeling better on Saturday although I was really weak.

I have had two doctor’s appt. on two Fridays ago and the other today. They say that everything is going great and today we got to hear the heart beat. It was 132 beats. It was such a relief when I hear that little heart thumping along, especially after the end of the week I had.

So Monday is the next appt. with the "special" doctor and then I go back to my normal OB in three weeks.
