So over the Holiday weekend we went down to my parents vacation home off the Bay in Maryland. We where all having a good time until well I took a fall. I went to walk down to the dock with my dog in one arm and towels in the other. I wasn't dump and had no shoes on. I walked down about four steps trying to stay on the wood part of the step because of not wearing any shoes the middle of the steps aren't complete with concrete yet just stone. I slipped and down I went. As I fell I turned sideways so I didn't fall on my stomach but my forehead hit the edge of one step and then my arm as my knees scrapped the step above. I yelled for help and my husband came running up form the dock to help me. I had a egg on my head to cut up knees and some purple/blue bruises. I was worried about the baby but I called the doctor and they said as long as I had no cramping or bleeding within 48 hours of the fall then everything would be fine. So it's been over 48 hours and I'm doing good except for the line on the forehead that ends a the top of my nose were I hit the wood. Crazy! Scary! Stupid! I know from now on I will wear my shoes espically on those steps. Lesson Learned!!
