19-8-2009 - Update

My mood while writing this blog: ok

So I thought I would write because it's been awhile. Everything is going well. The baby is doing great and so am I. We found out we are having a Boy!!! It's so exciting. We are naming him after both our fathers so the name will be John Carl and we are calling him Jack as a nickname. My husband’s father was always called Jack; so we are honoring him. My hubby was so convinced from the beginning that is was a boy so of course as soon as the tech told us he got the attitude of "I knew all along". It was really unexpected to find out when we did. We had our first appointment with the high risk on July 29 at 14 weeks and they did on ultrasound which the baby was being really good, because the tech kept saying how amazed at the measurements that she was able to get and has he moved around and around we kept seeing his little pee-pee. So finally she asked us if we wanted to know and I said it's a boy because I keep seeing something. So she said she wasn't going to say for a 100% sure but yea it's a boy. As the ultrasound went on Baby Jack kept showing it to us so then she decided to conform it and say yes it's a BOY! Everything went really well and we go back on September 17 for our 21 week anatomy ultrasound, which I can't wait to be able to see him again. Well I will update later on when more is happening.
