29-7-2009 - my baby's room

My mood while writing this blog: excited

I put up some pics of what my baby's room looks like so far. It's still not done. I'm going to put up another shelf on that wall and maybe a few frames pictures. This is a really small room so we are pretty limited as to what we can put in there. I bought all of the furniture on craigslist and the glider and ottoman was given to me. I made new cushions for it to match the room. I have a purple rug that I haven't put down but I'm not sure if I want a green one. I don't have a mattress yet so I haven't put the bedding on the crib. I posted a picture of the bedding that I bought. The bedding and matching valance is the most expensive costing more than everything else put together. But overall the entire room was way less than what I thought it would be. What do you guys think? I'm not great at decorating so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I Love it! If your rugs are small enough you could go with both :o) I like the bedding with your choice of color on the walls..very nice!
