06-8-2009 - Scheduled C-Section

Well I had my 28 week appointment today along with my glucose screening....and I also scheduled the official date for the c-section....OCTOBER 13th! I really didn't want to do it on the 13th but they only schedule them on Tuesdays and that was the earliest they will do it, my due date is October 24th. Now I am getting even more excited, 68 more days to go!! I have to have a repeat c-section because I had one with my first, he was breech and I went into labor at 37 weeks....and he wouldn't turn with the external procedure they do. My hospital and doctor do not do v-bacs so I didn't have a choice. I will be 38 weeks when we are doing the c-section, so hopefully I don't go into labor before that....well 37 weeks would be fine with me again.

I am measuring exactly at 28 weeks, now we just have to wait and see if I pass my glocose screening. I failed it with my first child and I sure don't want to go through the 3 hour test again, that sucked! I start going to my appointments every 2 weeks now, so I am sure this baby will be here before I know it. I have a little bit of anxiety about another surgery, but I am sure it will be fine....I had no problems with the first one. I also scheduled to have a tubal while they are in there.....but everyone is trying to talk me out of it, even the nurse did today! I told them I am 99.99999% sure that I want it and they said I can always change my mind, who knows I still have 68 more days to think about it I guess!
