01-10-2009 - Appointment 36.5 Weeks

My mood while writing this blog:
Tired

So I had my appointment this morning and I am only 1 cm and and the little guy is still breech! I am ok with that fact that I am not dialating much yet, but I can't believe that I am having another breech baby....my 1st was breech and would not turn so that is why I am having a repeat c-section, I guess I am just made to have breech babies (and I was breech too!)! Also, after the exam the doctor asked me (TMI warning) if I had been having a lot of discharge and I told him YES and that at my last appointment (2 weeks ago) I asked his assistant about it because I wondered if it could be a yeast infection (I have never had a yeast infection before) and she said that she doubted if it didn't itch and didn't even check me.....so I am a little pissed that 2 weeks later I find out I DO have a yeast infection and who knows how long I have had it for! And for some reason I am embarassed to tell my husband, and I was embarassed when I found out that was what it was! I know it happens to a lot of people, I just figured that I would have known.....oh well at least he is prescribing me seomthing to get rid of it! Other than that everything is fine and I go back in a week...only 11 more days until my scheduled c-section!

Does anyone know of any natural remedies to cure a yeast infection....I don't want this to happen again?

Hey, I used to get a lot of yeast infections..like 2 a month! i started taking kyodophilous ..I don't know how to spell it..but i get from GNC...it works wonderfully..i take 2 a night every night before i go to bed..if i miss 2 days in a row i will get a yeast infection..but try it out..it's actually expensive ($20) but well worth it=)

You're going to be holding your baby before you know it! Don't feel bad about the yeast infection, I've never had one either, so I'd never know if I had one. I know yeast infections are common during pregnancy and we have increase discharge anyhow, so how would you know?? Gasp- only 11 days left for you uh? Geeze, time sure is flying! Loads of luck with the last few weeks!

Wow 11 days. Lucky you! Yeah it does suck she didn't tell the dr. but at least you can take care of it now, and for some reason pregnant women are more prone to getting them it that makes you feel any better. Well congrats on the big 11 day countdown!

oh dont worry it happens but I agree I wish she would have told the Dr last time. You are so close how exciting.
