22-11-2009 - Eden-skye\'s christening

My mood while writing this blog: Tired *yawn*

Hi ladies,

First off, please excuse my typos if i make any, im still not fully with it this morning as i had a bit too much to drink for someone who hasn't drank in 11 months (other than a couple on one night out).... I've not had much sleep!!

So, yesterday went great..... Eden-Skye looked sooooooo beautiful in her dress... Im so happy i went with that dress as she looked like a princess, i bought it on Ebay and it was so cheap...The morning got me so upset as it bucketed it down and i thought it was going to ruin the day... A lot of my mothers side of the family coudnt make it beause the flooding was so severe most of the roads were blocked off.... But we still had a great turnout! The rain stopped about 2 hours before we went to the church and stayed off until we got into it...... At least we were indoors by then!!! The service was lovely, we had my OH's brother as godfather and my eldest daughter Paige as Eden's Godmother, all the kids were really well behaved , didnt hear a sound out of any of them. Eden-Sky slept for the first half of the service until the priest poured the holy water over here head , she opened her eyes and stared around at everyone lol... Then for the second part, she sat there watching the priest talking, while he stood in front of her holding her hand,,,haha was so cute...

After the service we took some pics then headed off to the local hotel where we were having the party.. It was a great afternoon, everyone seemed to enjoy it.. We all stayed until about 7pm then headed back to my house for a few drinks (i didnt drink till we went back) and to watch xfactor (we're all obsessed haha).... Then we went to the local pub and then onto the nightclub where the house DJ (a friend of mine) played a request for Eden-Skye lol.....
