02-6-2009 - Going into week 24

My mood while writing this blog:

Hi ladies,

Hope your all feeling great and have had a fantastic weekend.... Bit late doing this blog as im actually 24w 3d's today but was busy all bank holiday weekend.. Had a fabulous weekend, Done something every day of it with Adam, the kids and my sister and her family. We had a BBQ on Sat and bought a paddling pool for the kids then stayed out in my sisters house that night, Sun we all headed off to the beach and yesterday we went back to my brother-in-laws home town (actualy a little village) and went swimming in the lake then went to their annual festival.... I bought myself a couple of floaty summer dresses for over the weekend seeing as we actually had sun and they were soooooooo comfy (even if they did make me look twice as big..lol),,, Got a lil bit sunburnt which isnt like me, i usually tan straight away!! Was a fab weekend thou and the kids loved it!!

As for the pregnancy, baby has been kicking and moving like crazy all weekend, the kids love watching my tummy move and feeling baby kick... Spd has been giving me probs again but not anymore than i have been suffering so am able to put up with it so far, going back for my 3rd physio app on Fri.... Its not making it any easier but its not getting any worse so maybe it is helping me!
And talking about friday's,, got bit of bad news on Fri last, we got turned down for the mortgage on the house due to us being short - wait for it - a lousy €25 A WEEK!!!! Said we needed a certain amount left once we pay morgage (we have more than enough but Adam gong for the mortgage alone as we'd get less if i went with him for it due to me having kids), and he's €100 a month short of that amount! We are in contact with another mortgage broker thou who said we shouldnt have any problem getting one with them and are emailing him back all our details tonight once adam gets his work to sign the app form, they said we should have a decision within 2-3 working days so fingers crossed we know by end of week!! The owners have put off the renting of the house and the move to spain till mid august so we have till then at least to sort something out.... im just dying to get into the house to do up the nursery....lol... have no patience AT ALL!! haahaha

And finaly,, only ONE week till my 4D scan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am sooooooooooo excited.. i cant wait,, the last 3 weeks have flown by, can believe im over the 24 weeks already,, only feels like a few days ago i hit the 20 week mark..lol I really cant wait to see our precious baby again xxx

Sorry about the house situation, keep trying and something will work out. The SPD is holding steady with me, I am mostly experiencing it only on one side this time which is strange, I'm sure it will creep to the other side soon. I go for my 4d scan next week too! Can't wait!

Sorry to hear about the house, I am sure you will get around it.

I am coping with my SPD ok too, I am so pleased to hear its not giving you too much trouble.

You know what, I am having the exact same thing with my skin burning, so weird I normally tan so easy.

GOOD LUCK with the scan, I had mine on Saturday, it was AMAZING!

Glad to hear that u and ur family had a lovely weekend, my mum told me it was lovely in Scotland too! Good luck with the house situation, fingers crossed u get it!
I'm looking forward to hearing from u next week once u have ur scan! Hope u get some great pics and find out the sex for sure! x

Ah no thats shit about te house...fingers crossed for the next time. Cant believe your so far along already.....madness. I was in bed most of the weekend...just so tired still...grr!!! So missed most of the sun!!
