Hi ladies,
Hope your all keeping well.. So i Had my GTT test this morning, it wasnt as bad as i was expecting... Other than feeling like a pin cushion after it was just 3 hours of waiting around to have bloods taken... and while i was waiting to have bloods taken i went for my physio session for the SPD... Seen a different physiotherapist this time and she said the SPD is so bad now i have to wear a brace and use crutches for walking.... really didnt wanna have to end up on crutches!!! Giving it another week before i start using them........ Anyway, she said she recommends i take a couple weeks off work on sick leave to rest up so wrote a letter for me to give to my doc who gave me a cert for a month off work... so today was my last day as the cert brings me up to my 2 weeks holiday and then my maternity leave officially starts! So im outta work for a sore reason BUT on the other hand it feels TERRIFIC knowing i dont have to go back to work till next year...YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well at least something good came out of being in pain! I'm sure not working alone will help slightly with the SPD, as now u can rest more! Having to use crutches is a bumber but there is not long left until ur little bundle of joy arrives, just keep positive xxx

Well that's really nice that you don't have to go back to work, but I'm sorry the SPD has worsened. Mine is holding steady but it's terrible some days and it's so hard because no one understands. And the bones popping when I roll over at night--what a horrible feeling. I hope you feel better since you don't have to work as hard now.

Well, we are in our 3rd trimester now.wIth only a few months to go..I think it will just fly on by....Im glad you get some time off work to rest..It will be nice...Take care....
