I have had hot dry feet all my life. the sticking them out of the duvet is normal for me. sometimes i even have to get out of bed and put them in cold water so that i can sleep.
I feel your pain. as of yet i haven't found anyway of preventing them.

Sorry sweetie!! This is a first for me (lol) I've never heard of Hot Feet.... Try drinking ice water before going to bed...maybe that will help

Dear friends
I have HOT!FEET!! at night..................in the middle of the night, I wake................I take my feet out of the duvai!!..............they wake me up !............when they cool down..(like I feel cold)...I place them back in the warm duvai!...................but all it takes is 5 minutes and the rollercoster starts again!!..........................................................
Is this normall!......................any HELP.............ADVICE.................SUGGESTIONS most welcome dear freinds!
