My mood while writing this blog: Itchy itchy itchy |
About a month or so ago I started "breaking out" around my mouth, under my nose, and on my chin. At first I though it was just going to be one of those pregnancies. But after a while I realized I wasnt actually breaking out, it was a rash! ICK! It has been getting itchier & drivign me crazy! If I put ANYTHING on it then it gets worse. Its like tons of little red bumps and they look like they are starting to dry up and then..... they come right back. Ugh.. I wonder if I am allergic to something because when I took Benadryl for my other allergies it seemed to get a little better. But I cant keep taking it because it knocks me out- I cant even function when I take it..
I'm guessing it has something to due with being pregnant since I have never had it before... I dont want to have to call my Dr for something like this, but I mite not have a choice.. Anyone have any ideas?

Monday, 28 Sep It may be a yeast infection. A lot of women get them while pregnant and I know my grandmother used to get them in and around her mouth. You break out in itchy rashes that can turn into sores and become quite painful. I take an acidophilus suppliment everyday to keep from getting yeast infections in various places on my body. It works wonders and is super cheap to buy at any local pharmacy. Also 100% safe while pregnant or nursing. NinaBo-Bina -
Monday, 28 Sep Chrissi, I swear I have never had so much as a blemish but I am in a bad place to with acne around the bottom of my cheeks. Real red bumps. It's so embarrassing! It really itches alot too. My son uses proactive and it seems to clear up his skin, so I have been putting git on my face at night but it doesn't appear to be getting better. They say and I experienced with both my kids our skin is supposed to be glowing, healthy and just plain beautiful however mine is far from that. I hope it clears up soon cause the itching is unbearable and causes it to break out in more bumps. I feel ya girly! sandistar03 -

Monday, 28 Sep hi, just came across your blog and wanted to say that ive never had any excema or any sort of skin irritations but since becoming pregnanti to have broken out in a rash around my mouth (also on my eyelids) and in one spot on my arm.. i went to the doctor and he gave me some cream for my face and a stronger one for my body... he said its my baby taking away nutrients from me and that is like having excema and should only last my pregnancy... the dryness or itchiness isnt there so much now that use the cream day and night but it is still a little red... i hope you feel better soon and that it all gets sorted out!!
