08-10-2009 - Sleep.. Who need it? ME!

My mood while writing this blog:

Guess what ladies..

I AM MARRIED TO A TRACTOR TRAILER!!

No but seriously, I am not getting any sleep because of hubby's snoring. Before when it would get bad I would just go sleep on the couch, but now I dont fit lol I tried earplugs, but not being able to hear anything freaks me out.. So that didnt work.

It starts about halfway thru the nite and continues til morning and it is soooo LOUD!! We also tried breath right strips but those only work if he remembers to use them and most of the time that doesnt happen. Now that I am going to sleep earlier I'm not there to remind him to put one on when he comes to bed... Grrr.

So anyone have any tips on how to get it to stop besides smothering him with my pillow??? ;) Its not bad when he sleeps on his side, but he only stays like that for about 5 minutes, then just as I am starting to fall back asleep he flops onto his back again.. Hmm maybe next time I will grab some ramps out of the garage and wedge them under his back so he cant roll over hahaha

One thing that I have tried that has worked for me in the past when I was with my ex...old school earphones attached to an iPod or compact CD player, and play some soothing tones. I used to use the sounds of lightly crashing waves or waterfalls cuz the sound of water really calms me...but it would drone out that annoying snoring sound that makes you want to just pull out a frying pan and crack him one hard over the noggen...LOL

LOL i hear ya there, my hubby has the heavy breathing/snoring problem its annoying! i have gotten used to it tho! haha

Lol! i cant say anything when i am pregnant i snore so bad i wake myself up! Its really weird! Lol poor hubby! But he says he hasnt heard Me! Dont know how thats possible!

Have you tried those nose strips for snorers? Thank God my honey doesn't snore. He does say uhhuh all night long though, but thats cute and tolerable.
