| 16-7-2010 - 5 Months And Growing Fast! | My mood while writing this blog:Ok |
Since I am at work and there is no one else around I figured now would be a good time to take a break and write a litle update....
Carter is now 5 months and he amazes me everyday! He has officially started crawling, which is kinda freaking me out cuz I am totally not ready for it! Plus I dont know what to expect because Sophia never ever crawled. She took her first steps at 8 1/2 months and was off lol Anyway losing my train of thought... Carter will crawl like 3 or 4 steps at a time, face plant, and then pick himself up and keep on going- he is so determined! He is always trying to get to his big sister and she thinks that is the greatest thing in the world :) He is also eating a TON now! And everytime he sees food he goes "Mmmmmmm" then looks at me like "ok I'm ready to eat, what are you waiting for?"
My little Princess Sophia is definately in the terrible two's- some days think she may drive me completely bonkers! Everything is "no & why?" Or if you say something she likes she will say "tell me that again!" Its cute the first few times, but after 10 minutes of repeating myself it starts to get old lol But I have to say she is still totally in love with her "baby brothee"... She is always wanting to hold, hug and kiss him :) It melts my heart!! She has an amazing vocabulary for a 2 year old and has almost mastered potty training which is a huge relief cuz diapers are expensive!!
As for me, I am still working full time (boo!) Just waiting for the perfect position to come my way.. And I am finally starting to get my medical issues under control. I had a sphinterotomy done and they also put in a pancreatic stent- havent had pancreatitis since!! I was still in quite a bit of pain after and was told by my GI doc that there was already so much damage done it is irreversible and at this point all we can try to do is prevent any further damage :( Oh well, it is what it is. BUT I have been seeing a pain management Dr. and its been going really well. I am on a whole bunch of meds, which I hate, but they really seem to be working. I have just starting taking lyrica in hopes that it will help some of the pain from the nerve damage- I'm not liking it so far, but was told I have to give my body time to adjust... we shall see...
Well ladies, I hope you are all doing well and enjoying ever moment with your little ones as we all know how fast it goes!! XOXO
