19-6-2009 - Routine doc appts

Hi! Kayla and I both had doc appts today! It was her 12 month appt. Kayla had to get her iron checked again and it went up slighlty. They don't need to put her on iron pills yet. They are going to wait to check it again at her 15 month appt. She had to get 2 shots and it gets harder everytime, for both of us! It is so hard to see her in pain for those couple seconds! Kayla is in the 73 percentile for her weight at 23 lbs. She is in the 90th percetile for her height at 31.25 inches! Everything is going great with her and she is walking all over the house! She can't sit still! She has 4 teeth and another on the way. She loves hotdogs, pasta, cheese, potatoes and really anything we are eating! She is a talker too! She says mama, daddy, baby, puppy, ball and hi! She is going to be a GREAT big sister!

June 19, 2009 - 18 weeks 1 day - I had a routine appt today and I lost another 3 lbs. That's 8 lbs since my first appt! When I was pregnant with Kayla I was constantly gaining weight. This whole pregnancy has been so different then my first. At least the MS is gone, but now I have been getting heartburn! The baby's heartbeat is still in the high 150's. My doc is scheduling me an u/s with a specialist in the next 2-3 weeks. She wants me to see the specialist since I've had a previous C-Section. That is when we will be finding out the sex! (I haven't made up my mind if i am going to try VBAC or not. I still have time to decide.) We still have to wait another 2-3 weeks until we know if it's a he or she! It seems so far away!
