29-10-2009 - Today's Doctor Visit

So, today i had to go to the doctor. the pains in my right side are sooo intense. When i called the doctors office yesterday, the nurse asked me how i was doing, and i told her aside from the pains in my right side, I'm great. SO, she said i should come in JUST TO CHECK and see if it could possibly be a tubal pregnancy. SO, then i asked her, if I HAD to come in or should i wait a little longer and she told me that if it was a TP that they wanted to catch it quickly. ALSO, when i went for my annual exam on the 19th (i knew i was pregnant) I had these pains even then. SO, THAT'S why they wanted to rule out the ectopic. ANYWAY, I went in today and had to pee in a cup. Then I got examined and he couldnt see anything so, he told me that if we take blood today and again on monday we could see my hormone counts. If they are doubling every day, then things SHOULD be fine. If they arent then we will have to reexamine things. :( I'm sooo tired of everyone telling me that I WILL have cramps with a pregnancy! um, DUH! I've been through this once already-and not that long ago. This is DIFFERENT. I'm not an idiot. GRR!
