Yesterday I took a pregnancy test to make sure I wasn't pregnant before starting the pill next Sunday. It was negative as far as I could tell, so I didn't even think twice about it. I was gathering up the garbage throughout the house this morning, and happened to look at the test again. A very faint positive...I'm waiting for Geoff to get home so I can go out and buy more. I can't believe this...I don't even know how to feel...numb would be the best word right now...

tests are only accurate for the first 10 mins... take another test! =)

If u leave them sitting for a long time they sometimes will turn positive so if it was negative right away then im sure its still negative.//after a few minutes they r no longer accurate

They say that the tests are only accurate right after you take them, not like a day later. So hopefully it's nothing! I hear you on not wanting another one for at least a year. I have a 14 month old and a 2 month old. I love them to death!!! But . . . I can not handle another one right now. And my employer would not be too happy if I got pregnant again right now. I am so afraid that I will have an accidental pregnancy because I am breastfeeding so they only have me on the mini pill.

actually depending on the time span from when yo utook the test to when you saw the faint positive, which seems to be almost a day, it could very possibly be a false positive. but let us know once you get the other tests. : )
