Ok

I get many requests on how Jude is doing. Our in utero MRI showed that Jude had suffered an Ischemic event, or a stroke. We followed him very closely during the pregnancy and to our surprise his head grew, and the Vents leveled off at 9 and 10. When Jude was born he went home without being seen in NICU, and scoring a 9.9 on his APGAR. We figured everything was fine. He was rolling, and smiling at 3 months, and just a joy. I am afraid also at 3 months he suffered a massive seizure, and that was just the beginning of our roller coaster. Jude has a seizure disorder called lennox gestaut syndrome, he is legally blind, has a feeding tube, cannot walk, cannot crawl, and he has cerebral palsy. We have spent many days in the hospital, and I have updated every day at my log www.cjengo.blogspot.com. Our life is something very difficult so when ladies from here ask me my opinion I am honest. If you chose to go ahead with your pregnancy you must be prepared if everything doesn't turn out okay. My advice is to never look back, and say "what if". Jude is the light of our lives, and has taught us more than anyone else ever could. Because of him my daughter started a charity called Emily's Smile Boxes www.emilyssmileboxes.com, and she has touched so many people's lives. My son has taught people in our lives not to ever just "look through" the disabled, and recognize they are people. He has taught them patience, and to be grateful for the life you have. He is an inspiration!
