| 06-9-2009 - The joys of the 3rd trimester |
My mood while writing this blog: chilled but in a little discomfort |
Well i'm 27 weeks and 5 days preggers. As soon as I hit the 27 week and the begainning of the last trimester all of them horrid pregnancy discomforts have come about. Hurtburn is back, I'm so not sleeping all night my back hurts and again I'm having a break out in spots:( The thing I'm most worried about and hoping maybe any of you ladies could offer some advice on is my leg pain! I am having a real bad lower leg pain in my calf. It's not cramp it's more like the pain you get after having a good work out ( I so have not had a good work out lol ) I'm just a little worried.
Any advice would be cool hope all you ladies are doing well.

Sunday, 6 Sep Yeah, I got those charlie horses in my legs BADLY last week. I had them earlier in the pregnancy, and was eating lots of bananas, and they went away. But, they came back once I started on my iron pills. Ouch! So, I stopped my iron pills for a few days, and they went away completely. Now, I'm thinking I'll try just taking one iron pill a day, because those charlie horses were just killer!! egansmom -
Sunday, 6 Sep You need potassium for those awful charlie horses. Try eating some bananas. It will really help! jessnmike99 -
Sunday, 6 Sep i dunno, if you have a pain that isnt going away, you should go to the doc because what if its a blood clot. you really shouldnt let that go! masonnickey -
Sunday, 6 Sep Girl I get the worst charlie horses in my legs and thighs, the other day I got it in both legs at the same time! Ouch! I'm going to agree with the other lady and say try bananas! Also maybe your partner can gently massage the area. Hope your legs get better. Just think in a few wks we will see our lil ones! kickboxerbaby -
Sunday, 6 Sep You may need to raise your potasium intake. Try eating some banana's. Also you may want to splurg and get a pedicure. After soaking your feet and stimulating circulation in both your legs and your feet plus the calf massage you should be feeling pretty good. Good luck. stinaa001 -
Sunday, 6 Sep I know what you mean!! It seems since I hit the 28 week mark I am not sleeping at night at all. I can' get comfy with this big belly and when I do it's on one of my sides but then I wake up about an hour later with such bad hip pain I usually have to switch to my back with the left side propped up for proper blood flow, Then I don't sleep well cuz I worry about how I am laying. It's crazy!! lol... Preparing me for the late sleepness nights when the little one comes I guess. Hope your leg pain goes away. It's sure no fun when we are in pain! At least you are looking pretty darn cute with that belly of yours!! :) angela32 -

Sunday, 6 Sep surprisingly my back pain isn't as bad as it used to be. weird. but i get soar, numb & tingly limbs when i'm sleeping or sit in a position too long. which can get super annoying. but i've never had what you're describing. hope it's goes away soon & if it doesn't hope it's nothing to worry about. i used to get heartburn during my second trimester too but now for some reason i don't. also weird but i'm glad. other than that hope all is going well for you. i know my tummy makes it hard to get off the couch & do most anything anymore. & i still have 3 months left. i just hope i don't get too huge. i feel helpless now alot as it is. heather k -
