So after harley being alittle under the weather and no help from the doctors I decided to take Harley to A&E. He would not fed and whe he did he would drink 1oz and the brig it back up:( He also started to breath pretty fast ad his head was bopping. This was all last Saturday the 16th Jan. Once there I told the drs about his cough and his feeding and breathing problems. When they looked at his chest they said his breathing was far to fast and because he was trying harder to breath thats what was making his head bop. He also had little indents in his chest. They watched me try to fed him but he just refused:( With this they took so bloods and put a feeding tube though his tiny nose. It broke my heart. They told me Harley had a chest infection called brinchiolitis. They said it was commo in babies Harleys age. If me or you had it it would be fine as we are bigger and it would not affect our breathing like it would a babies. So Harley was admitted to the childrens medical ward. Everything was going well but that night Harley needed to be put on oxygen. We were told on the Monday they were gonna take him of oxygen and if all was well he could go home Tusday but after that it all went wrong. Harley didnt cope well of the oxgyen his cough was getting worse and to make things worse he now spiked a tempeture. Doctor put him back on oxygen and mored him to side room and started tamiflu to be safe in case of H1N1. All the doctors had to wear mask into our room:(. Tusday came Harley was worse I took a picture of him as to compear to his well self and OMG he looked so sick. Doctors said he had a second infection maybe pneumonia I was so scared me and his dad didnt know what to think. They put a drip in and decided to stop feeding him as eventhough the tube he was still being sick. Amazingly this started to work he had meds and fuilds and within hours they took affect and the change in him was massive. By Thursday he was off oxygen and drinking a bottle. Were now at home and Harley still has a little cough we have to feed him little but often every 2hrs. He has 40 ml which is about 1 and a half oz. Have to keep a close eye on him. I'm still worried we will end up back there. I was scared to bring him home at first. I stayed with him the whole week and would not leave his side the other children missed us so much and i missed them so its great being together again. I just hope all carries on to go well now we are home. He has his meds 3 times aday and he has his last Tamiflu this afternoon. Have not been on as been in the hospital and was shock to see I had 139 message in on short week. Will get though um best I can. But if u concived or gave birth CONGRATS. xxxxx
