My mood while writing this blog: crazy scared and p***ed off |
Arrrgh sooooooo p***ed off!!!!I'm laying In my warm comfortable bed last night with my eyes almost closed when I hear a loud noise. What the hell is that?
MOUSE! It's only a bloodly mouse in my bedroom. I don't thing I have ever been that scared. That has been a problem with house mouse in the area for some time now. Last winter we had one and got him out asap. But this one was a nosiey breast and I was soo not happy to have him here:( So all day long I have been on edge jumping everytime I hear a noise. Last night after I saw him ( Hope its not a she ) I needed to pee AS ALWAYS LOL. But I tryed holding it as I was scared to get out the bed. Had to go in the end as almost wet myself:( I am having problems sleeping now I'm bigger and now I am scared to go to bed:( So need to find the money to call them in or do it myself. My hubby is no good his also scared of mouse. Founded housing but it's like a 3 month waiting list ( What good is that? The problem would be out of control by then )
Anybody know best and fastest way to deal with these little monsters???

Wednesday, 2 Sep get a cat? (borrow a cat) If not... a mouse trap...don't use the glue one... use a trap and put peanut butter on it. MY cat would be up for the job, but we're far from you! mummyyumyum -
Tuesday, 1 Sep Ahh I had the same problem about a year and a half ago during winter also. We live right by a huge field and it was a little field mouse and was actually quiet cute looking thing....but still scared the hell out of me. I think the mouse found its way into the house but then couldnt find its way out again....in the end I went and bought a humane mouse trap....its a little contraption that doesnt hurt them but does catch them all you need do is put peanut butter in it....I hear that its the best thing as they love peanut butter lol. Funny though cos I never managed to catch it, I think it just managed to find its way out of the house because I just stopped seeing it one day. If you scared in the night before you get up bang on the floor make sure you have your feet covered with socks or slippers. If you bang on the floor it will warn the mouse that you are up and it will hide and you wont see it while you are up, most mice are only ever out at night anyway and only tend to run along the edges of the room right by the walls they rarely run into the middle of the room and stay well out of the way of humans if they can as they are frightend of us (unlike rats who are real bad pests cos they are cocky buggars lol). I had a complete heart attack a couple of weeks ago when my cat obviously went hunting and bought a mouse back into the house (rare for a cat to do they usually leave it by the front/back door) luckily I had my friends round and one of them spotted the cat carrying the mouse in, otherwise I would not have noticed it. Anyway I went to check it out the cat dropped it looking pleased with itself, cats sometimes do this to please you, they think of it like bringing you a gift lol. It was not a funny gift though as the cat dropped the mouse onto the floor and it soon became clear that the poor thing was still ALIVE as it ran round the room and right past my foot at which point I screamed my head off!!! lol I ran out of the room leaving the cat with the mouse while I calmed myself my friend and I went back in and the cat had caught the mouse again...thank god, this time the mouse was either dead or playing dead and my friend removed the mouse for me and put it back on the field. Well needless to say the cat got a telling off and I dont think she will be bringing me anymore presents home again lol. fiona101 -

Monday, 31 Aug good luck whateve you do. I know whe you phone the enviromental health out they putdown poison but with you being preggo and the kids in the house you'd probably be better going for traps good luck. kickboxerbaby -
Monday, 31 Aug That has got to be horrid to wake up to... I think I would have made my hubby keep watch and then in the am go get some traps. I am not as humane as others. I go straight for the snap traps. The little buggers are going to die anyway way not make it an instant thing... Peanut butter is really good bait. Becky03 -
Monday, 31 Aug My hubby and I live in a country home and have had a couple of these nasty critters in our house, too....we have two cats that luckily took care of the problem once and then we used the sticky traps another time. They worked...just takes a little time...good luck!! kplum -
Monday, 31 Aug We had mice and my husband put those sticky things all over the house and they worked! the only bad thing is they don't die and the sticky pad (with the mouse) still has to be disposed of...yuk! chrissi10990 -
Monday, 31 Aug We had mice back in June (they were coming in cuz of all the rain) It seemed liked we would get rid of one and a few days later another would show up!! We used traps w/ peanut butter and they seemed to work pretty well. I hated killing them but they were creeping me out!! Good luck!! MUMMY2SOFIA -
Monday, 31 Aug Borrow a neighbous cat,My cat likes to kill mice,The thing is she leaves them in the backyard. :( Am also having trouble sleeping now, bloody back plus she seems to be more active at night now than during the day,Last night I didn't get to sleep till 3am. x Aiona -
Monday, 31 Aug Agh, mice! Hantavirus! We have cats, and they dispatch of the mice for us. frosty -
Monday, 31 Aug we had a mouse in our garage once and the best way we found to get rid of it was to put a trap down with peanut butter. This is because the peanut butter is sticky and the mouse will stay on the trap longer to get the food and then obviously activate the trap to go off. Its not a pretty site wen it gets the mouse though.Good luck. let us know how it goes xx KatyElizabeth -
Sunday, 30 Aug I have had a mouse in the house for over a month now and I have set numerous traps. I think it is staying in the closet right now...I am so tired of that thing. I always think its going to crawl in bed with me. I put those sticky traps in the kitchen...I am hoping to catch it soon. Good luck catching yours littlemissfatty!! -

Sunday, 30 Aug Oh honey don't be scared of them..... They run as soon as they see you. Just set a trap with peanut butter. Then chuck the trap out if your too scared to open it. You can get them at the dollar store. Make sure after you catch one you still set another trap.... they are breading machines! LOL good luck chantelmabel -

Sunday, 30 Aug lol..bless..I love mice..so All I can suggest is the humane traps..so you can release them into the country or something...my sister has mice in her house..and she got a cat...that also worked..lol..(she's not happy about the mouse been killed..but it's nature)..I have 3 pet rats..so you'd hate it here..oh..terrier dogs are bred for killing mice..maybe borrow someones for a day or two..(i'm being seriouse..the best way without any chemicals or them coming back is other animals...)..oh also you can buy these little electrical box things..that give off a high pitched sound wave..(you can't hear it..but it will deaffen the mice)..what you plug into the plug socket and it makes them leave the house..gets them out of the walls too...then you have to find where there coming in..and block the holes off..if you get a black light..you will be able to see where they have been..because mice have no bladder control and there urine will show up under a uv light..there will be trails of it everywhere..so you will be able to see it to clean it..and it will lead to where there coming into the house...good luck..xx *-Mrs.Parker-* -
Sunday, 30 Aug omg i would be sooo scared just like you :/ i've been wondering if we have one here...but i havnt actually seen one myself...i found the living space of it tho...is there a walmart around where you live?? idk what they are called but theres these balls that are supposed to get rid of them..but two for your house spread them at opposite sides and that should do the trick.
