hi claire hp u ok after u few days in hospital.after gettin everything 4 our lil man we went out yesterday n got everything sorted 4 chirstmas as time is goin so fast so we can just relax wen he arrives good luck wiv every thing

i wish i could be on bed rest. though i think i would go insane. hope you get tons of rest & baby stays put. we are so close but not quite there yet. tell him to be patient. i swear mine wants out so bad. he goes insane in there. lol. good luck with everything.

good luck hun..sure you'll be just fine though..I was at L&D 2 weeks ago and was having regular braxton hicks every 2 minutes..but they didn't seem worried and sent me home..I also had trace's of protein..but they also didn't seem bothered..sent a msu sample off..and haven't heard owt..so that's fine..I thought they'd be more worried that in 1 hour I had 30 BH contractions..she just said..if I get period pains with it or bleeding to go back in..take care..sure your fine..Xx

hang in there and make sure to take it as easy. as you can. My last pregnancy I went into preterm labor at 27 weeks (got the steroid shots and ones for contractions) and had preterm labor and hospital stay again at 32 weeks. Despite all this, my little guy hung in there until 38 weeks!! I firmly believe the besrest played a huge factor in keeping him in there until he was full term. Good luck to you and take it easy!!!!

Anxious little bugger isn't he. Sounds like he gave both mommy and daddy a good scare. I am glad to hear they let you return home for bed rest. Those hospital's really aren't condusive to sleep. I will pray for the lot of you that baby stays in a lot longer. Stay in good spirits sounds like you have a good man helping you through.

Chill out, little man! He sounds like he's ready to tackle the world already. :) Did your doc perhaps prescribe a glass of wine to slow the contractions down? I've heard that is a common remedy (and a very good excuse to enjoy some vino in my opinion). Hang in there! :)

Aww that last part was cute : ) Well I'lm glad to hear everything is okay. Hopefully he can be good and stay in there for a couple more weeks! Don't try to do too much you need to just RELAX! Let us know how it goes.

So here I am 30 weeks pregnant, and what a week it's been!
I have just this second got home from the hospital (L&D) where I have been the last to days and nights:( Went in for lower back pain and abdominal pain resembling period pain. Was seen pretty quick and stapped up on the monitor. Baby's heartbeat was great:) but was having far to many brackston hicks ( Painless contractions ) Was on monitor for 40 min and had 7. So I was kept in. In the morning after a crappy nights kip I was woken up at 6.30 for BP, Temp and to listen to baby's HB. All were fine. Doctors came around I had a scan and as they thought my little mans head was very very low. Back on the monitor still having contractions but not reg. I was also given a shot of steroid to mature baby's lungs and told me I will have second lot 24 hrs later ( That home out the window lol ) Also had to have kidney scan eventhough my urine was clear when went in. Had kidney scan all clear but second lot of urine taken had signs of infection and protein so on meds. This is when I was told if I didnt live far and wanted to I could go home on bed rest as long as I went back as soon as there is a problem and someone picks me up more meds tomorrow. Yay so after to longgggggggggg days I was going home:) So just got in and hubby has made the bed all lovely for me Awwww. If my cervix opens or becomes soft they will give me more meds to stop labour. Will be checked again in a few days as they have asked midwife to visit me at home. I really hope my little man stays put. Its far to early to be born at 30 weeks! I'm nagging him to be good LOL.
