04-12-2009 - Induction of Labour !!

My mood while writing this blog: Ok

Well I had my scan today nd the babys weighing in at over 7lb which is great, as my placenta is low and the baby will put a lot of weight in in th next few weeks they have suggested that I be induced. Ive an appointment on the 14th Dec and culd well be in either that day or the next. Im a bit anxious as ive heard being induced is not plesent but excited at he same time - we could have our little girl with us in 10 days !!! yehhhhh x

wow thats great! I was induced but have nothing to compare it to. Contractions were very strong but i was in hospital and didnt have to worry bout where and when the baby was gonna come! Good luck x x

YAY! The count down begins :-) Some women say induction is not so bad...can't tell you from experience though....mind over matter!! Can't wait

I was induced with 2 of mine and actually prefer it! Its so controlled and no panic trying to make it to hospital on time! I loved being able to have everything done and knowing that I was going to have a baby the next day or whatever. It helps with the nerves and it can be a little more intense as far as contractions go but at least you are prepared for it and can get pain relief as soon as its getting to be too much. I had great experiences though! Good luck!!
