08-1-2010 - Maisie is here!

My mood while writing this blog: ok

Hi everyone, sorry for such a delay in getting back online and updating. Only got out of hospital yesterday! What a crazy time! Baby Maisie was born by emergency C Section on Monday 4th January 6.07pm weighing 3lbs. She is doing really well, breathing on her own. I will get my husband to upload some pictures of her asap. It all started new years eve. I had a bloody show. Went to the hospital all was fine not in labour but kept me in for observation. Well Saturday my waters broke. Still not in labour and kept me in hoping to hold things off. I caught an infection monday and was having contractions although i didnt feel them i was 5cm dialated but she was now breech. So although i didnt want a c section i had no choice as it was now life threatening to my baby. It all happened very quickly but the main thing is my lil girl is doing great. Will post more updates later xx Hope everyone else is well xx

You did a great job getting her to 3 lbs! And breathing on her own already! I know that feeling when you have to have a c section for babys sake, disapointing when its not the plan but for the best. Congratulations.
