18-12-2008 - Crash!!

My mood while writing this blog: A little angry

Yesterday the teachers at my son's school had their "Christmas Lunch" where the parents all volunteer to watch the kids so the teachers can have a little party together in the lunch room.

Now, due to the mild weather + rain Monday then the flash freeze, the snow hills at the moment are complete ice rinks.

So here are all these parent volunteers watching the kids while they eat their lunch then put all of their snow gear on to go out & play for lunch recess. The kids run to the toboggan hills,

EVEN THOUGH AT MORNING RECESS THE TEACHERS TOLD THEM IT WAS TOO ICY

Well these kids figured out pretty fast, the parent volunteers had not been told this, so the kids took advantage of this...

and what do you think happened?

Yup my son was actually the second who was smashed up.......I think after 3 or 4 kids the poor parent volunteers clued in, that;

MAYBE TOBOGGANING ON ICE ISN'T SUCH A GREAT IDEA!!!!!
