02-12-2009 - 28-29 weeks

My mood while writing this blog: Happy

Well two weeks since the last blog isn't so bad.

Last week I had some spotting so I called my midwife who told me to meet her at the hospital. She wanted to check me for pre term labour. So I went and had all sorts of tests done and got hooked up to a fetal monitor for a while which did show that I was having some mild contractions. They turned out to be nothing. I then had an ultrasound which showed that the baby was doing very well, was extremely active, very large and 100% girl So I guess I got my confirmation there. She had her legs spread wide open. I still find it hard to believe. The ultrasound also showed that the placenta has moved up enough that they have cleared me for a natural birth. Unless of course other circumstances prevent it. So I am very releived. I really did not want to havea c-section and now I guess I should go and buy some dresses... They never did find out what caused the spotting. My midwife told me if it happened again I would need to go off of work.

So I moved this past weekend and that was super frustrating because I am so sore and cant really walk around too much. I really can't stand other people doing things that I should be doing so it really was terrible being helpless watching other people do my stuff. I am almost all moved in though so thank god for nesting. I am still super sore and tired tho because I have been staying up late every night unpacking and can't sleep thining of all of the stuff I sitll have left to do. At this point I just need to put awway Edwin's clothes and hang pictures and everything else is done! I am proud that i got that much done in 4 days!

So the head of the baby was super super large. Like obscenly large. So not looking forward to that... Everything is going well at this point tho. :)
