| 17-1-2010 - 34-36 Weeks | My mood while writing this blog:NESTING!!! |
Well as you can tell by the mood of my blog the nesting has begun. Let's just say this is nesting on steroids. I remember nesting with Edwin but I was so damn fat and sore that I literally couldn't do everything I wanted to do. This time I am normal size and still sore as hell but have a lot more energy and can't stop myself. Another difference? A toddler to come behind me and destroy, wreck, ruin, disorganize everything that I have just accomplished so there is a lot of double, triple and quadruple work being done. I don't know how my sanity is going to handle it. I think if it is like last time then it will only last the next week or two and I will then get into lazy I don't want to do ANYTHING mode right before baby will come.
I am officially off of work as of two days ago. That could also be attributing to the nesting full swing in the last two days. Now I am like "I have to get this done or the world is going to end". I have 1 week to myself as I am keeping Edwin in daycare for the next week and then after that I am pulling him out entirely because I can't afford to keep him in and he will be home bound with me for the remaining 3 or so weeks before Erika comes. I am wondering how being home with him in Todldler mode is going to go...I stayed home with him for the first year of his life and was devestated when I had to put him in daycare and go back to work. Am I going to feel this way again? I hope so. I hope I don't get TOO overwhelmed.
I have accomplished so much in the past two weeks in regards to buying things that I "need" for this baby. I am so broke now. LOL I got some nice gifts from the people from work including a toys r us gift card and a walmart gift card, clothes, toys, etc. I even took back the crib mattress that I charged on visa and bought it right away again on that gift card.. :) I am putting the crib together today and did the change table, and dresser yesterday. Of course if I wasn't relying on DH to help me with it it would have been done the night I bought them but I guess I have to be thankful for the help. Midwife appointment tomorrow and then I start to go every week after this. I can't belive she is almost here. Did I step into a time warp or something?
Going to try to update weekly at this point due to being home and all.
Until next week,
Colleen
